I love the value that research brings to the design and development process. I am also passionate about helping researchers do their best by focussing on ResearchOps.

Hi there! I’m Julong Dijkstal,
a Dutch user experience designer and researcher with Chinese roots. Driven by curiosity, enthusiasm, and optimism. Currently looking for a new challenge. I love translating complex things to simple, understandable and easy to use interfaces.
I could definitely support mentees who share an interest in things like service design, interaction design, and visual design. With an emphasis on playing a role in role in the fuzzy “front end,” in which research, user insights, trends, vision, brand identity, and strategy are essential factors.I'm looking for mentees that are proactive, have a hands-on mentality and try their very best to identify, design and build high-quality digital solutions.
Hi, I’m working as a UX designer for about 5 years, and 4 years as industrial designer. Both in house and agencies. I’m currently in a team building healthcare payment system for African countries. My involvement in design mostly start from getting to know the user need and researches, all the way till prototyping and visual design. I’d be glad to talk to someone who’s enthusiastic, self-driven and eager to become a more matured designer or just to explore the UX world.
Roy Scholten works as an information architect and service designer. The job title tends to change, but he uses design to make plans specific and actionable. His focus is on structuring and modeling large sets of content for use in multi-channel environments. More content system than design system: his expertise is closer to the geeky technical part than the visual appearance part. From that perspective he helps teams make choices, set priorities and execute.
Hi, my name is Yalenka. I'm a designer at Namahn, an independent design agency located in Brussels. Before I lived in Paris and worked at Fjord Paris (part of Accenture Interactive) as a Service and Interaction Designer. I like teaching qualitative user research and visual storytelling. I studied Industrial Product design, so I did quite the U-turn leaving school. I'm currently mainly working on public and social sector projects as a strategist and service design coach (that's why I switched jobs). I'm looking for a mentee who doesn't mind to hang out online, likes to discuss meaningful design work, creating emotionally safe workplaces and who doesn't mind that my two cats might listen in on our sessions.

After graduating I decided that I wanted to work as a UX Designer and after following several courses and this mentorship I am where I am now! I am open minded and I am an adventurous person. My hobbies are riding my (motor)bike and creating things. I love people who are open minded as well and I think in the creative (design) world you need to be up to date on all fields. Although my background was purely graphic design it is amazing where I have landed! I am hoping to shine some light on girls struggling with career paths and build confidence to achieve anything they set themselves up!
I am an experienced UX professional (25 years and counting) who thinks that senior designers should spend more time thinking about organzing & optimizing the work and less time doing it. I am a design process --freak-- enthousiast who likes to create circumstances in which good design can happen. Anyone interested in advancing their career in this direction is welcome
I have a software engineering background but moved into project/product management. I've worked for different business sectors for several countries. I've been a remote employee too for almost 4 years. Most of my career happened in Mexico and now I've been in the NL for almost 2. I can help them by listening and going through their experiences and how to go out there and challenge your fears. I would love to mentor any type of persons, but specially young people that are still figuring out this world
I’m obsessed with helping teams make data-informed decisions about the people they serve, and love spending my days helping colleagues and community members to better understand their needs.

Hello! I am Manjari Sahu, a UX and Service Designer at VanBerlo. My route has been untraditional - from being a retail space designer with marketing and brand expertise in India to studying user experience and service design in the USA, working with Philips is innovation and research, to now designing services in the Netherlands. My expertise lies in service thinking as well as implementation, user-centered mindset for both physical and digital design. Government and transportation projects are my soft spot. I would love to have a mentee that is working in not just digital UX design, but also physical. If you would like to know more about how to work in multi-touchpoint projects, how to build yourself as a service designer and strategist, or are looking at a core focus of UX tools and methodologies, I would love to help you.
My name is Viktoria, but most simply call me Vika. I am a UX Researcher and Strategist, working for the Berlin-based company builder wattx. With roughly 5 years of experience working in UX, for both, big global companies as well as fast-paced startup environments, I am happy to mentor anyone interested in Design Thinking, UX Research, and Design. The ideal mentee is dedicated to this (learning) experience and opportunity and takes the necessary action to achieve goals. I am here to guide you through the process and provide you with the means necessary to achieve those goals.
I can offer:
+ Human-centered and ‘rapid-prototype’ mind-sets;
+ Interest and curiosity on tinkering with context-aware and adaptive interfaces;
+ Tools and techniques to research and engage people in their own contexts, thus gaining deep empathy for their needs;
+ Professional maturity and competence to bridge business goals between design team and technical staff without loosing the user perspective along the project.
I am Tanvi Pande, a human centred designer, passionate about problem solving, sustainability and education. In 7 years as a product & service designer, I have understood how to maintain the balance between idealistic and pragmatic approach. The art of stepping in and out of the customer’s shoes to create an apt product service system is essential for a service designer.
What I would like to bring on the table is the importance to the integration aspect that encircles the way design works within organisations. It excites me to tap into biases and resistances in bigger organisations from both design and other professions and to solve that on the way. From a practical stand point, I could help mentees understand, tweak and create processes. Furthermore, how to mentor non designers on the topic of design/ facilitation and research. Curate tools and learn when to choose which tool and when to involve right stakeholders.
Service and UX design being a 'new' profession brings unclarity toward growth patterns. Through my mentorship, I would like to help mentees, understand their own worth and find their fit as a designer. I wish to mentor someone who is self driven and enthusiastic about design/ research/ creative thinking
Hi, I am Fab 👋a former Service Designer for Fjord and now a UX principal in MediaMonks.
If you still are not sure what this Design Thinking is all about I am happy to grab a coffee to figure it out with you.I traveled across different countries and roles in Europe, I am happy to share my experience of being a uxer in London with a shitty portfolio, or introduce you to the secret code of post its placement.
I am not a Design Enthusiast but more a Design Realist, so you can expect some honest answers and a healthy digression on other great things that can happen in life, like movies, books, pizza, and memes.

Highly enthusiastic and curious about human psychology and how we interact with the modern world, I am eager to discover all facets of user-centric designs. In my work I focus on establishing diverse mindsets and encouragement of inclusive actions to drive innovation in product development. No problem is too complex, so diving into research and asking tough questions is my forte.
I am a hands-on UXer with a varied background ranging from in-house E-Commerce and Finance to fast-paced interdisciplinary agency.Whilst working on multiple projects covering customer journeys, content strategy and UX for large platform builds, a large part of my work focusses on mentoring my team and helping them grow through encouragement and individual strength finding.

Over 17 yrs of experience, I am a design professional aims to create a soul for brands through a blend of digital and physical world so users and business can truly connect and mutually benefit from the experience.
My principle is to use digital as connector to create a holistic experience through the lens of user centered design, service design and business design. I can help in setting vision and approach towards the problem. There is no preference as such in choosing a mentee.
I'm a designer who worked both in house (Microsoft, Big Fish Games) and agencies (Frog Design) before founding my own studio, The Artificial, specializing in connected products. I've worked for clients in America, Europe, and Asia. Now I do freelance consulting and am publishing a book.
If you're curious and passionate, I'm sure we'll get along just fine. I'm happy to provide mentorship around traditional design topics as well as communication, project planning, and team building.
Hey there 👋
I am Agata.
In the trajectory of my design career I've been wearing many hats. Got a degree in Industrial design, worked as a graphic designer, even did some illustration gigs, and eventually transitioned into a product designer. I have an experience of working with B2C and B2B projects and mobile applications. Currently working at Asellion, where I help to transform chemical industry.
When I am not designing designing digital products or detangling complex systems I am writing on Medium and help to organise LTUX meetups.
I can help someone who is at the beginning of hers/his career or only just starting to figure this overwhelming world of design out.
My name is Kelly Morales. I’m a Customer Journey Expert at ING working on the onboarding and identification processes of new (private) customers. I love innovation, customer experience, and product design. I get energy from inspiring others, being an entrepreneur and doing volunteer work.
I'm originally from Colombia and have lived in NL for more than 6 years. My Dutch is very good (C1 level). I have a bachelor in Visual Arts and one in Industrial Design, and a Master in Innovation Management from the Eindhoven University of Technology. I can speak Dutch, English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. I'm goal oriented, creative and structured. My purpose in life is to be the difference I want to see in the world. That is why I love sharing knowledge and connecting with new people. I strive towards pushing my comfort zone to the max.
I'm looking for a mentee who is motivated, creative and wants to leverage her power. If possible, I would like to work with a woman from a minority group, like black or latina. I think I could be a good role model to them, and can empathise with their experiences.
I'm Sabrina, a UX Designer with 4 years of experience working as a freelancer during a year and a half and since almost 3 years ago working in-house. Currently, I'm working at Coolblue. I've been working here for a year and a half. I started in the Customer Service domain, being responsible for all the customer service pages in coolblue.nl and a back-office application for our customer service and now, I'm working in a back-office team, being responsible for the application that handles all the agreements that Coolblue has with their suppliers.
Besides, since I joined this new team 6 months ago, I'm also a part-time Scrum Master. I'm mainly focused on facilitating meetings like the retrospectives.
I can help junior designers with planning a project from the beginning, figuring out what research is needed before start designing and breaking down the project into smaller pieces. And I can help with qualitative research, how to plan it and conduct sessions with users and how to analyse the insights in order to take design actions.
Besides, I can also help with UI and UX work giving feedback on projects or working together on something. And helping to get a job in UX with portfolio reviews and giving advice on how to tackle a design interview.
I'm looking for a mentee who is a junior UX/UI designer or someone who wants to start a career in UX/UI. And I enjoy working with people who are self-motivated and goal orientated.
I am a creative designer with a passion for human problems and how to solve them. I have always been drawing and creating since I can remember. My different opportunities in the field have allowed me to learn a range of skills from UX testing, setting up and maintaining Design Systems, Journey Mapping and Illustration. I would love to share this knowledge and also learn from you. Working as a designer is a beautiful and rewarding responsibility.
I am a User Experience Designer with over 10 years of experience in web design. I have studied Calligraphy and Psychology and also have been a certified UX Researcher from Nielsen Norman Group. Now on my way to be certified UX Manager with NNg. I can help mentees who are trying to break into the UX field or who is well experienced in UX research and looking for a mentor to speak with to get to know more about the field and different research aspects.
I'm currently a Senior UX Researcher at Stack Overflow, where I work remotely. My background is in computer science and psychology, and I have worked as both a UX designer and UX researcher. While I am totally happy to help with general career development or remote work topics, I feel I can offer the most to a mentee who wants to grow their skills in research and product strategy (whether as a UX researcher or otherwise).
I care. I listen. I don't know anything, but that's the fun of it, you'll find your answers:) Every journey is different, it's an honor to help you with yours.
Hey, I'm Juliana! I work with communication since 2010 and with design since 2013. I've started as a graphic designer and I slowly migrated to the UX UI area. The UX strategy and how design can influence other people's lives is something that I really like!
I'm a UX/UI designer based in Amsterdam with over 7 years of experience. I love people and put all my effort to make this world a more delightful and convenient place. My tool for it is Design. I like to experiment and learn new things. Along the way, I prefer to have fun!
Very energetic, curious asking lots of questions to tickle the brain, innovative future thinking, inspiring ppl to excel and grow human approach, honoust.
Hi, I'm Sevin (pronounced 7, like the number). I have a background in Psychology and as a UX Designer I'm always thinking about what's going on in a user's brain. If you're interested in UX from a psychology P.O.V., we might be a perfect match.
I’m Zoë — Senior Visual Experience designer (for almost 6 years) with a passion for digital design. I am a true minimalist and always busy creating awesome things. I can help junior or medior designers on their way with everything that has to do with digital design. I am a generalist, and I am not specified in just ux or ui. I believe that a strong designer should be able to do both.
I am therefore also looking for mentees who believe in this vision and want to grow into a fully-fledged designer who, like me, wants to complete the design process of a project from start to finish.
I'm Gabriela and I'm a UX/UI Designer at a startup in The Hague. I moved here from Brazil over a year ago, and I have a background in Fashion Design and Graphic Design, so I can definitely help someone who is looking to transition careers. I started as a freelance designer and I'm at my current job for over a year now working with tech, so I believe I can help students or people starting their design careers.
I’m a design director whose also been an entrepreneur building & selling my own tech company, I’m looking to support a mentee who’s wanting to progress & grow fast.
I have background in FinTech entrepreneurship. I moved to Netherlands from NYC to bring my startup to the EU. I want to mentor people with an entrepreneur mindset and are interested in starting their own companies.
I’m Riëlle, a Digital Product Designer with 5+ years design experience. I've done long term projects for companies like Nike, Liberty Global and Nationale Nederlanden.
My process starts with conducting research and developing a concept. From there on I bring everything together that’s needed to achieve a solid end result. I'd call myself a UX designer, but I'm not afraid to dip my toes in UI and motion design.
I'm looking for someone who's interested in an informal mentor/mentee relationship. I don't have a preference for number of years of experience.
I'm Natalia. I'm currently working as a Lecturer in Interaction Design for CODE University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. Before that I was part of DesignThinkers Group operating in Athens. I've had my share as UX designer & researcher in MOBGEN, Accenture Interactive in Amsterdam. I studied at TuDelft and got my M.Sc. in Design for Interaction, and at the University of the Aegean and got my B.eng. in Product and Systems Design Engineering.
I'm constantly thinking about how the process of designing digital products has implications beyond the screen, how we as designers begin our journey feeling unequipped, how people from different backgrounds can work together, how everything I read the past years that made me a better designer had nothing to do with design, how ethics should be discussed more when designing, how designers can map their values and interests to companies and choose where to work, how the hiring processes are broken and a lot of other things.
If you have also been thinking about the above, I can probably help you reflect in a more structured way and get closer to your answers.
Leading UX practice for the last decade in different compagnies made me grow personnaly and professionaly. I want to share my knowledge to help designers be the best version of themselve and to build things for humans. If you are a junior designer looking to improve technical skills or a senior designer who wants to grow in product management, we can work on that.
I'm a product designer from Brazil. I have experience in many products as banks, telcos, health style and etc. My specialization is in service design and project manegement.
I've been working as a designer for the past 8 years. I've worked for start-ups and big enterprises alike and it has given me a very broad set of experiences. As a designer, I've always been more attracted to complex problems; systems and empathy. So my experience is more in the realm of building software from the ground up or enterprise software, than it is in e-commerce.
I can help you with "hard skills" like design methodology, persona's and user journey maps, user research, design principles, design strategy, design software etc. But we can also focus on the soft skills you need to be a designer, like stakeholder management, time management, communication, presentation, collaboration etc.
And unfortunately for me I have had way too much experience with job applications (start-ups sometimes be like that).
So I've become somewhat of an expert in building a portfolio, making a resume and writing cover letters. So if you have an open mind and are eager to develop yourself, I'm happy to help!
I'm Danny de Vries, lecturer at CMD Amsterdam at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. We are a human-centred and context-sensitive bachelor-level design education in the field of interactive digital products and services.
I’ve mainly coached students helping them navigate the design and agency field and getting them ready for internships.
I’m José, UX Team Lead with over 15 years working on digital products and +3 leading designers.
I would like to guide someone who wants to find their own path and give them tools to keep growing.
My name is Joy and I'm a designer made in Rotterdam. I've worked as a freelancer for different companies (e-commerce, agencies, non-profit organisations). Nowadays I'm working as an UX/UI designer within an e-commerce firma. Besides that, I'm a teacher at the university, focussing on the theoretical part of design.
I like to think about solutions instead of problems and I will always aim for a positive energy! I'm convinced that a positive state of mind, eagerness and motivation is a foundation to become a good designer :)
As a mentor I would like to listen to you in the first place. I will be open to discuss anything, so it doesn't always has to focus on design itself. What really typifies me, is questioning the other to find the answer by him/her self. With a couple years of experience I can give you in-depth knowledge and insights about working as a freelancer or for a bigger organisation. How you can grow from feedback, how to communicate on professional level with different stakeholders or get super-skilled as a designer!
I have 8 years of experience as a professional design researcher and UX designer. I started my career as a designer in India, ventured out for a year in South Korea before moving to Amsterdam three years ago. I have a good experience of working in different setups and cultures, from a giant corporate to a 5 person startup to freelancing from my room.
I am happy to share my knowledge and experience on two levels with anyone
1. Practical knowledge on working as a designer: How can you better integrate as a designer in design friendly/challenging work places? How can you make your processes more efficient? How to manage stakeholders and communicate your designs better etc.
2. Deep dive on specific UX topics: Planning, doing and analysing qualitative research, UX reviews, working with various design methods and tools etc.
I’m Valentina, Senior Service Designer part of the team at Accenture Interactive Amsterdam.
I love traveling, discovering new cultures, sharing a meal with friends and eating pizza every Sunday night.
During my 5+ years of professional experience within service design & research, I developed solid expertise across creative facilitation, qualitative research methods, service design tools, public speaking and concept development of human-centric experiences.
Some clients I have worked for: APG/ABP, Shell, Liander, Arcadis, KLM, Plan International.
I take pride and feel genuine joy in sharing my knowledge and experience to benefit others so I’d be glad to support one enthusiastic, ambitious professional willing to go the extra mile: career development choices, portfolio review, service design & research consolidation, and any other challenge you might face along the ride.
Let’s have fun together. :)
With a background in Humanities and Social Communication, my main focus as Principal UX Designer is on reaching high quality results in production by creating and streamlining processes, fostering innovative solutions and safeguarding the vision and integrity of projects and multidisciplinary teams. I have experience working both in in-house and agency positions, on a big variety of projects both in terms of scale and industry. I would like to be a mentor to someone curious and self-motivated, who is looking for practical advise and hand-on tips in regards of concrete projects / UX practices or methods, or broader career-related challenges.
I am a Korean and an interaction designer who loves to know new people and things. I've lived in the US, Korea, Hong Kong and the Netherlands. I am passionate about food and culture. As an interaction designer in a global digital consulting firm, I can help the mentees with the three ways. Firstly, I share my knowledge and experience from different projects I've worked on. Secondly, I show the best examples of the design process and outcome. Thirdly, I introduce different disciplinary experts like a data scientist. I am looking for the mentees who love to share their UX challenges and interests. I like to ask, think and talk about 'Why' together.
My aim as a designer is to find the sweet spot between business and customer needs. I have experience working internationally in the US and Singapore, in a variety of projects that span across research, product design and strategy. I can help by being a soundboard to add a new perspective on things. By providing tactical tips on applying the right design methods and processes to solve problems. Or on how to better lead and manage teams. I enjoy working with people who are direct, self-motivated with clear goals.
Originally from New Zealand, I studied digital design and started my career creating DVD menus - remember when that used to be a thing? My UX career has taken me via San Francisco, Berlin and now the Netherlands. This has provided me with insights and cross-cultural experiences in a multitude of environments from corporation, agency, start up and everything in-between. I can help with developing skills in any area of UX design [best practices, facilitating workshops, usability testing, concept ideation, working effectively in particular work environments... or speak from my experiences to help you navigate your career.
I'm Julia, a product designer with a background in Computer Science. I switched from front-end development to UX/UI design 8 years ago and still loving what I do. I built my first website when I was 15 and made all the possible mistakes (justified text in Comic Sans, anyone?). I can help someone who's either switching careers or just starting and has a vague idea how to build or improve a portfolio, particular design skills, or how to get the (first) design job.
I have many years of experience in both interaction design and user research. I'm looking for a motivated mentee.
I have worked at Google across three different countries in the last six years — first as a frontend developer and now as a UX Specialist, consulting big businesses to improve their mobile web UX & speed. Before Google, I was a UX Designer at a startup company, despite my Computer Engineering Degree. I've always jumped around between design & dev but have finally found a role where I can merge my passion for the two and consult on both topics. So if you're a technically-minded designer, or one who is looking to grow their career in a more client-facing direction, I think we would be a great fit :) Ideally based in Amsterdam for easy meet-ups.
I'm a strategic designer with a strong background on user research in different domains and I recently established the service design practice in a digital agency. I can help the mentees in navigating different aspects of the fuzzy front end of innovation and design projects, especially if they are interested in radical changes and future-driven projects.
I worked with big companies about Agile Design Thinking & Project Management & UX Strategy & Product Design. My Company's name is Experience Coaching :) It seems I need to create a team in the future. So I try to improve my coaching skills. If you want to learn something about the first step of product development, ideation workshop management and how to get align & work with cross discipline squads, we can meet and talk about my experience. Affectionately.
I study Communication and Multimedia Design, I'm currently in my last year. I've been doing UX/UI as well as illustration for interfaces. I recently decided to switch my focus to service design but it's still a relatively new field to me. I think as a mentor I can be most helpful giving portfolio advice or facilitate people who recently discovered UX/UI and want to know where to get started with the right information to grow their skills.
I am Anna, a strategist, User Experience and Service Designer. I love solving difficult problems and mapping out complex processes to make them simpler. My passion lies in design for organizational change, design for behavior change, social design and design for cultural differences. I started my design journey in 2007 in the field of industrial design. 2010 I got in touch with Service Design at the Politecnico di Milano and later in my work as an industrial designer I did several co-creation and innovation sessions and decided I want to learn more about UX, user research and service design. So 2013 I came to the Netherlands and did a Masters at TU Delft. In the meanwhile, I freelanced at different companies and projects in NL and one in Vietnam. Since 2016 I have been working full time as a UX and service designer. First, I worked in an agency, working on different projects mainly POCs and new apps. Since 2019 I am working at VodafoneZiggo where I am busy establishing more UX research and design thinking practices within the company. I am looking for a mentee who can handle direct and honest, but of course productive feedback and dares to say their opinion as well :) and is in for a laugh.
I can advise a mentee in user research methods and practice, giving design reviews on UX/ UI designs and flows, how to deal with stakeholders and extend your network, how to approach a project, write a project plan and choose an approach, and get the best out of meetings and presentations. If you do not already do, I will teach to always undermine your statements, be sure you know why you make the choices you made and be able to present and support them.
I like helping committed mentees that are just starting out in their careers to not only think more strategically about their career choices, but also their approach to design, so they can bring the added value for the business and the people they design for, and continue loving what they do.
I am Seyda, a designer with 5 years of experience helping notable brands such as Delivery Hero and IBM. I had a chance to work as a consultant, UX designer and product designer so far. Observing different organizations, from a small design agency to a structured design team in big organization, helped me to understand different dynamics in workplaces. I can help mentees to bring their awareness to their workplaces and if they are looking for a chance in their career I can help them to map their desires, to take actionable steps for their goals and use their designer skills to change their path. Hands on topics that I can be helpful: facilitation skills and user experience design.
I'm a strategic designer who has worked in a variety of roles/types of companies, I bridge UX, leadership and service design. What keeps me inspired is trying to find new angles within design challenges and finding ways to make societal impact as a designer. I can help mentees who wish to lead teams or to have more confidence in their communication/presenting skills. I can also help mentees who are interested in service design or taking on bigger & more complex design challenges.
