We collect applications from both potential mentors and mentees where we ask questions about skills, experience and personal preferences.
After the registration is closed we manually go through all the data collected to find you a perfect match.
We do our best to match mentors and mentees based on the skills mentees want to learn, skills mentors have to offer and personal preferences of both.
If you feel that your mentor or mentee isn't the right person for you let us know via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try to re-match you.
Please note: after all pairs are matched we cannot guarantee that we will find you a substitute mentor or mentee.
Yes of course! You can register now to be a mentor, and later on, you can register to be a mentee. You will be matched with a mentor and a mentee based on your preferences.
We welcome mentors and mentees of all genders. However, as currently there is a gender imbalance in tech we have taken the decision to prioritise ladies as mentees. Which means if there is a shortage of mentors, female mentees will be matched first.
We thank you for your understanding!
The Mentorship Program isn’t an online course, so we don’t have a curriculum. After you're matched with your mentee it is up to you to schedule a meeting and find out what kind of help do they need. From our side we made sure to match you with someone who either wants to grow into position like yours, or get the skills you have. During one of your first meetings you should decide what kind of format you both want to have, it could be anything from a side project to bi-weekly conversations about your work. Keep it relaxed.
Depending on the track you've chosen it's 2 or 4 months program. During this time you commit with your mentee or mentor to meet for 30 minutes once in two weeks at least. You are free to chose between remote or in-person meetings, or the combination of two.
Mentorship Program is absolutely free!
No you will not get payed. Mentorship program is free for mentees and organised by volunteers.
